GUNMEN ABDUCT 50 COMMUTERS ALONG TEGINA-MINNA ROAD IN NIGER STATE

Gunmen on Tuesday abducted not less than 50 commuters along the Tegina-Minna road, Rafi Local Government Area of Niger State.


This comes barely three weeks after bandits kidnapped 40 commuters in Yakila district, Rafi Local Government Area, Niger State.


Sources say the gunmen blocked the road at Kundu town, a few kilometres from Zungeru community, and whisked the victims away to an unknown destination while the vehicles were left by the roadside.


Similarly, bandits on Tuesday invaded Gidigori village in  Rafi Local Government Area setting five cars ablaze and carting away valuables.
