POLICE ARREST THREE SUSPECTED CABLE VANDALS IN OGUN

Operatives of the Ogun state Police Command have arrested three suspected cable vandals in Igbolile, Iwopin, Ogun State.  


Information available indicates that some youths called SP Ebietomiye Adeleke the officer in charge of Marine IWOPIN, in Ogun State, that four men suspected to be vandals were sighted cutting armoured cables from an electric pole at Igbolile street IWOPIN.



This crystallised the action of the OC Marine SP Ebietomiye Adeleke to immediately mobilise his team to the scene of crime. Three suspected vandals were arrested, one took to his heels, while two motorcycle used to convey the stolen items was recovered, 3 button phones,

android phone, 2 iron cables cutters, clothes and repulsive charm. 


The trio of Saliu Ashimiu (male( 26yrs, Awolu Ibrahim (male) 25yrs and Ibrahim Saliu (male) 25yrs in Oni village via Iwopin were caught disenging one end of the cable tripping off electric supply from a 

portion of the Community. The transformer is a property of IBDEC installed to power electricity, but the suspected scavenger who has confessed to the crime said they are not employees of IBDEC neither are they officials of Power Holding Company of Nigeria.


They will be charged to accordingly and the fleeing person will surely be tracked and arrested.
