NSCDC NABS THREE SUSPECTS OVER ILLEGAL DRUG DEALING IN EKITI STATE
The operatives of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, Ekiti State Command, paraded three suspects who specialized in refining and selling substances suspected to be cannabis sativa in Ado Ekiti.
The information available indicates that the suspects have been noticed by the Olorunda Landlords for their illicit activities in the area which therefore triggered them to inform the security agencies to parade the suspects.

Upon investigation, the Counter Terrorism Unit of the Command swung into action, mapped and marked the location which paved the way for the arrest of three suspects while others escaped.
The suspects arrested are: Agbekeye Ayomide 22, Oladimeji Akintomiwa 21, and Agbeleye Beulah 20, and were believed to be their intermediaries as they assist in marketing the suspected cannabis sativa while others at large are those refining the substance into chips.
Meanwhile, items recovered from them included a wrapped substance suspected to be cannabis sativa and other materials for chips.
