ONE KILLED, CATTLE RUSTLED AS BANDITS STORM CHIKUN LGA OF KADUNA
Gunmen have killed one person and rustled cattle in Markarfi village, Chikun LGA of Kaduna State.
Sources say the assailants, in their large numbers, stormed the village in the middle of the night on Tuesday and shot sporadically.
One person was killed while another was kidnapped during the attack, which lasted several hours.
The attack in Chikun LGA is coming one week after the Kaduna State Local Government announced the restoration of telecommunication services in some parts of the State.
Recall, on September 29, Eons Intelligence reported that the State Government suspended telecommunication services to tackle the troubling banditry and other related crimes in the State.
Kajuru, Chikun, Igabi, Birnin Gwari, Giwa, Zaria, and Zango-Kataf were some of the Local Government Areas where telecommunication services were suspended in the State.
