ONE KILLED, SEVEN INJURED AS HOODLUMS STORM OGUN COMMUNITY
One person has been confirmed dead while seven others sustained gunshot wounds after hoodlums invaded Igbo Oba community in Igbesa area of Ogun State.
Security operatives have arrested three suspects, 14 expended cartridges and six live cartridges were recovered from one of them identified as Muibi (surname withheld), who claimed to be a member of the Oodua Peoples Congress (OPC).
The incident, which happened on Monday morning, is the fourth in the last one month in Ogun State.
The attack on the community occurred less than 48 hours after residents raised the alarm of an imminent attack through a Save Our Soul (SOS) message to the Inspector-General of Police, Usman Baba Alkali.
Recall, Eons Intelligence reported on Monday that gunmen stormed a church in Ewekoro LGA of Ogun, kidnapping three worshippers.
