POLICE RESCUE FIVE OF THE ABDUCTED STUDENTS FROM GOVERNMENT DAY SECONDARY SCHOOL IN MARADUN LGA OF ZAMFARA
The Zamfara State police command has rescued five out of the 73 abducted students of Government Day Secondary School, Kaya in Maradun Local Government Area of the state.
Recall that Eons Intelligence reported that bandits stormed the Government Day Secondary School, Kaya in Maradun Local Government Area of the state, abducting not less than 73 students.
The abduction prompted the deployment of security operatives in the State to the area to rescue the students.
The victims were rescued unhurt and have been reunited with their families.
The Commissioner of Police, Ayuba N. Elkana, who confirmed the development, assured residents of the state that a search is ongoing to rescue the remaining abductees in the bandits' camp.
