POLICE STORM CRIMINAL HIDEOUT IN MUSHIN, ARREST THREE KINGPINS AND SEVEN OTHER SUSPECTS

The Lagos State Police Command over the weekend invaded criminal hideouts in Mushin area of the State, arresting three kingpins, and seven other suspects.


The suspects were nabbed in separate locations in Mushin on Saturday evening, February 27.


 

The arrest which was led by the Commander, Rapid Response Squad (RRS), CSP Olayinka Egbeyemi, comes after discrete investigations were made by the squad’s Decoy Team to Eko Boys High School, Showunmi Street, and Itire Road, all in Mushin.


 

The RRS also impounded 29 motorcycles on Friday evening. In a statement by the State's Police PRO, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the impoundment was to reduce the reported incidences of traffic robbery and in enforcement of the restriction order of the State Government on the corridor for motor cyclists.

The motorcycles were impounded on BRT lane in Ikeja Along as well as Allen Junction, which are restricted routes for motorcycles.


Recall that theCommissioner of Police, CP Hakeem Odumosu, vowed that he was not going to tolerate lawlessness and criminality in Lagos State.
