TENSION IN KADUNA COMMUNITY AS SUSPECTED BANDITS KILL VILLAGE HEAD, SON, OTHERS
A tragic incident unfolded in Kukar Babangida town, Jibia local government area of Katsina state, as gunmen suspected to be bandits carried out a violent attack on Wednesday around 10 pm. The victims of the attack includes the village head, Magaji Haruna, his son, and eight additional individuals.
The attackers, who targeted the village head's residence, engaged in indiscriminate gunfire resulting in the unfortunate deaths of Idris Harun (the village head), his son, and two others within the same premises. Additionally, two security personnel from Tinna Tech, a local company, were attacked; one was fatally slaughtered, and the other was shot.
Furthermore, the assailants set ablaze two trucks belonging to the company and another Gulf car, escalating the gravity of the situation. The incident has left the community in a state of tension and mourning.
