TERRORISTS ABDUCT ZAMFARA STATE DISTRICT HEAD
Suspected terrorists on Thursday 27th April 2023 abducted the district head of Kasuwar Daji, Ibrahim Sarkin–Fada, in the Kaura Namoda area, Zamfara State.
The armed men attacked the community days after soldiers attached to Operations Hadarin Daji conducted a clearance operation on several terrorist camps in Kaura Namoda, Zurmi, and Birnin Magaji axis.
The information available indicates that the terrorists invaded the community in their numbers at about 0215hrs shooting sporadically and heading straight to the district head's official residence and whisking him away on a motorcycle.
The district head, who was abducted is the father of the incumbent Zamfara State House of Assembly member representing the Kaura Namoda constituency, Anas Sarkin–Fada.
