Troops Recover Arms Cache in Mafa Border Operation
Troops of Operation Hadin Kai, in collaboration with the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF), have recovered three AK-47 rifles and five magazines during an intelligence-led operation along the Mafa border corridor in Borno State.
The recovery was made following a follow-up operation after troops had earlier engaged terrorists on 7 August 2025, an encounter that led to the neutralization of one insurgent. The intelligence-driven effort eventually uncovered the cache of weapons believed to belong to the terrorists.
The Defence Headquarters commended the troops for their success and urged them to sustain the momentum of intelligence-led operations across the theatre of operations.
