INSECURITY: THE HUMANITARIAN AFFAIRS MINISTRY POSTPONES THE DISTRIBUTION OF COVID-19 PALLIATIVES
The Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development on Monday announced that a program organized to distribute COVID-19 palliatives and Conditional Cash Transfer intervention to some residents in Zamfara had been postponed due to insecurity in the state.
The Ministry disclosed this in a statement signed by its Deputy Director Information, Rhoda Iliya on Social media.

HUMANITARIAN AFFAIRS MINISTRY POSTPONES EVENTS IN ZAMFARA STATE DUE TO INSECURITY
The Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development has postponed the flag off ceremony of the Conditional Cash Transfer interventions in Zamfara State due to insecurity.
The Ministry in a statement said the flag off of Geep loans, fertilizer distribution and handing over of COVID-19 palliatives all scheduled for the weekend in Zamfara have been suspended till further notice.
The Ministry hereby informs all beneficiaries that a new date will be fixed and communicated to them as soon as possible.
