BOKO HARAM/ISWAP KILLS GREAT BORNO HUNTER WHO LED NEGOTIATIONS FOR THE NIGERIA MILITARY
Boko Haram/ISWAP Insurgents have killed the leader of the Borno State hunters, Abdulkareem Umar, also known as Baba-Maigiwa.
The 69-year-old leader was held hostage in July during a failed negotiation by Boko Haram factional commander, Modu Sulum.
Eons Intelligence reported that Baba Maigiwa had initiated talks with the dreaded Boko Haram Commander which had reached a certain level of understanding between the two parties.
A source said Modu Sulum had promised to lay down his arms along with hundreds of his fighters and accept meaningful reintegration.

However, things took a drastic turn, and Baba Maigiwa was held hostage during one of their meetings.
Eons Intelligence has confirmed that Baba Maigiwa was killed on July 27 under the direct orders of Modu Solum.
