PIRATES ATTEMPT TO ATTACK VESSEL AT SEA
Unknown men suspected to be pirates attempted to illegally board a vessel at sea in the early hours of Friday, August 28.
Sources say a small craft with about 6-8 persons onboard approached the vessel which was approximately 114 NM SE of Tema in Ghana at about 5.30 am.
The vessel promptly manoeuvred when the men attempted to come onboard using a ladder.
Report says the vessel and its crew members are safe.
