TRAGEDY AVERTED AS NIGERIAN NAVY BOAT ON PATROL CAPSIZE ALONG OPOBO WATERWAYS

5 officers of the Nigerian Navy escaped a boat mishap in Rivers State on Monday. 


Eons Intelligence gathered that a jubilee gunboat with visual call sign JEF 5 on routine patrol along Opobo waterways capsized with 5 crewmen aboard. 


Investigations reveal the tragedy was caused by a fire.

Fortunately, all crewmen escaped unscathed.

The incident occurred about 24 hours after a Nigeria Airforce place crashed shortly after take-off from Abuja airport, killing everyone on board.

The Nigeria airforce told newsmen that the ill-fated plane was on a mission to rescue the abducted students and staff of the Government Science School in Kagara, Niger state.
