The conflict began days ago, claiming the lives of one farmer and one herdsman, but escalated early Sunday morning when herders attacked homes in Kukta, Waltandi district, Song Local Government Area, killing five people.
The authorities swiftly responded by deploying security forces to restore order and apprehend the perpetrators. According to SP Suleiman Nguroje, spokesperson for the state police command, the Commissioner of Police has ordered a thorough investigation into the clash, ensuring those responsible will face justice.
