OKADA RIDER'S STORM ABUJA ESTATE, SET HOUSES ABLAZE.
There was tension in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja on Sunday when motorcycle riders, popularly known as ‘Okada’ stormed a popular estate in the city.
The mayhem started when a hit-and-run driver rammed into some Okada riders in Kubusa area of the city, killing three of them in the process.
It was gathered that the Okada riders wreaked havoc and set properties on fire, in the estate.
Residents of the estate disclosed that the motorcyclists attacked the estate in their bid to apprehend an unknown motorist.
They noted that the motorist was chased by a mammoth crowd of motorcyclists after he overran three motorcyclists.
The estate Manager Mr. Adebisi adewolo confirmed the incident, meanwhile, security operatives have taken charge to return normalcy.
