25-YEAR-OLD MAN ARRAIGN OVER MOTORCYCLE THEFT IN EKITI
A 25-year-old man, Bamidele Adeleye has been arraigned before Ado Ekiti magistrate court over the alleged stealing of a Bajaj motorcycle valued at N220,000.
The police prosecutor, Inspector Sodiq Adeniyi, informed the Ado-Ekiti magistrates' court about the alleged offence committed on December 16, 2022.
The prosecutor invoked Section 302(1) (a) of the Criminal Law of Ekiti State, 2021.
Barr. Gboyega Falowo, the defendant's counsel, sought bail, assuring that Adeleye would not evade it.
Magistrate Dolapo Babalogbon granted bail at N100,000 with one surety in like sum and scheduled the hearing for February 5.
