ARMED BANDITS INVADE FORMER PDP BoT CHAIRMAN'S RESIDENCE, CART AWAY DOCUMENTS

Armed bandits invaded the residence of the former Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Board of Trustees (BoT) Chairman, Senator Walid Jibrin, at Brains & Hammers Estate, Apo 3 FCT, Abuja, and carted away valuable documents.


The information available indicates that the bandits numbering eight came in about seven Sport Utility Vehicles (SUV) with sophisticated ammunition, tied the houseboy, ransacked the whole house and requested N5 billion and the ammunition kept in his house.


Consequently, they forced the houseboy to Sen. Walid Jibrin's bedroom, ransacked everywhere and went away with valuable documents.


The armed bandits took away the houseboy and told him they came for the N5 billion and ammunition kept in the house before they freed him on their exit from the house.


Sen. Walid Jibrin who was not at home during the bandit attack has cleared the air that he did not have in his possession such an amount in cash and all his bank accounts, and also not in possession of so-called ammunition Neither did he have a house in Abuja and his local council headquarters, Nasarawa State.


Meanwhile, the operatives of police are on their toes in the investigation to bring the perpetrator to book.
