ARMED ROBBERS SET BUILDINGS ABLAZE AND CART AWAY VALUABLES IN IBADAN COMMUNITY
Reports indicate that hoodlums suspected to be armed robbers on Friday invaded Aderogba community, around Beere in Ibadan, setting houses and shops ablaze while also carting away valuables in the process.
Eons Intelligence gathered that the robbers vandalized several vehicles on the street and carted away a number of household appliances from the homes they burgled.
Sources say the armed men stormed the community around 11.30pm and started throwing stones and bottles at the shops on the street. It was learnt that about 40 shops were burgled and looted.
The number of buildings set ablaze cannot be ascertained as at this time.
