BANDITS ATTACK THREE LAWMAKERS IN NASARAWA
Reports indicate that bandits have attacked three members of the Nasarawa House of Assembly.
The incident occurred on Wednesday around 10am.
The three lawmakers identified as Samuel Tsebe, David Maiyaki, and Peter Akwe, were ambushed by the assailants while commuting from Lafia to Akwanga.
Sources say the Tsebe, who represents the Akwanga South constituency on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), was shot at but narrowly escaped. The attackers for numerous gunshots at the car, damaging the glass.
The Nasarawa State Police PRO, Ramhan Nansel, confirmed the incident and said investigations have commenced and efforts are ongoing to arrest the assailants.
