BREAKING: FG ORDERS REOPENING OF UNITY SCHOOLS FROM OCTOBER 12
The Federal Government has ordered the reopening of all unity schools in Nigeria from October 12, 2020.
Recall that Eons Intelligence reported that the Federal Government ordered the closure of all schools nationwide following the outbreak of coronavirus in the country in March.
Adamu Adamu, Nigeria’s Minister of Education, made the announcement on Friday, October 02, 2020, in a press briefing in Abuja.
He urged all institutions to obey all COVID-19 protocols for the reopening of schools as directed by the NCDC and the presidential Task Force (PTF).
The Minister disclosed that all unity schools should open by October 12 while States and private schools will announce their reopening.
Meanwhile, some States including Lagos, Oyo, Kano and Enugu, have since resumed operations from the beginning of September.
