BREAKING: LESOTHO GETS NEW PRIME MINISTER

Moeketsi Majoro, former Minister for Finance in Lesotho has been sworn in as Prime Minister on Wednesday, May 20 after Thomas Thabane resigned. 


Thomas Thabane resigned as the Prime Minister of Lesotho following months of pressure after he was named as a suspect in the murder of his ex-wife. 


The new Prime Minister, Majoro, 58-year-old was officially sworn in at the royal palace of King Letsie III in the small Southern African kingdom. 


The Finance Minister was sworn in as Thabane's replacement. 


Majoro made an oath to be a true and faithful Prime Minister.
