COVID-19: ESCAPED NIGERIAN PATIENT IN GHANA FOUND
One 46 year old Nigerian, identified as Simon Okafor Chukudi who took to his heels upon hearing that he was positive for coronavirus has been found.
Simon disappeared from his house at wapaani, a suburb of the Regional capital of Ghana after hearing he is positive.
The police has been searching for him since then, so he could not spread the disease. Until he was found on Friday, 17th April, at around Wa Polytechnic where he was hiding along side friends.

According to the Regional Police Commander DCOP Aboagye Nyarko, the patient was found through an informant, who intercepted him at his hideout.
Simon Okafor and five of his relatives are presently on mandatory quarantine at the Regional Hospital with other confirmed patients.
Meanwhile, Okafor was part of the six new cases the Upper West Region recorded on the 12th of April 2020 which made the total confirmed cases seven.
Out of the six new cases, five were imported and the other one traveled from Western Region to Upper West. All six confirmed cases have been in the region for more than three weeks.
The Ghana Health Service has since began contact tracing of newly confirmed cases.
