FACT CHECK: REPORT THAT BOKO HARAM SHOT DOWN HELICOPTER IN BORNO FALSE
Eons Intelligence has reliably confirmed that the report that Boko Haram shot down a helicopter in Borno is false.
According to sources independently verified by Eons Intelligence, a humanitarian helicopter dropped aid workers in Banki town, a border town with Cameroon. However, the Helicopter developed technical fault mid-air and made an emergency landing.
The technical fault was promptly fixed and the aircraft has safely returned to Maiduguri.
