A staff, Mr. Godwin Ugwuta, who witnessed the incident, said he was in the production studio when he saw smoke appearing in the area.
Another staff who was present in the studio at the time of the incident, Mr. Kelechi Ogoamaka, said he narrowly escaped death, as the corridor leading to the live studio had been razed by fire when he was pulled out.
Sunday Mbam, an employee in the radio station, revealed that the fire has crippled the operations of the station and they may not be on air until the radio station is repaired.
