GUNMEN ABDUCT DISTRICT HEAD IN KWARA, POLICE BEGIN INVESTIGATION
Gunmen have kidnapped the Mogaji (District Head) of Erubu, Dr Zubair Folorunsho, in Kwara State.
The Community Leader was kidnapped on Thursday December 8, 2021, at Afon in Asa Local Government Area of Kwara State and taken to an unknown destination.
Eons Intelligence gathered that he was in transit between Ilorin and Afon, where his farm is located, in the Asa local Government Area of the State, when he was ambushed by his assailants.
The District Head is a retired permanent secretary in the state civil service
In a statement by the State's Police PRO, SP Ajayi Okasanmi, the Commissioner of Police, Mr Tuesday Assayomo, has ordered a discreet investigation that would lead to the rescue of Folorunsho as well as the arrest of the kidnappers
