BANDITS ATTACK ZAMFARA COMMUNITY, KILL TWO, ABDUCT 18
Bandits have attacked Askawa community, Zurmi LGA of Zamfara, killing two residents, and abducting 18 others.
This is coming after security operatives rescued 13 kidnapped victims and recovered three AK-47 rifles from bandits in Shinkafi area of Zamfara State.
The incident occurred around 1am on Wednesday midnight, December 1.
Sources say the bandits freed one of the victims with a message of N5M ransom to be paid as ransom for others.
Zurmi LGA has been a hotbed for bandits attacks in recent weeks. Recall, on October 29, Eons Intelligence reported that bandits attacked Gurbin Baure community, Zurmi LGA of Zamfara State, killIng four residents, and rustling several animals.
