GUNMEN KILL TRADITIONAL RULER IN EBONYI STATE
Unknown gunmen suspected to be political thugs have killed the traditional ruler of Umuezeokaoha Community in his palace, in Ezza North LGA of Ebonyi State.
The information available indicates the gunmen stormed the Monarch's palace on Monday 27th February 2023 night and shot him dead.

Following the killing of the monarch, the State Governor, David Umahi, has appealed to all the leaders of the State and the candidates who are not happy with the result of the election to forward their petitions to INEC or to security agencies, which is rather better than making inciting statements that could uproar crisis in the State.
Recall that sometime in 2022 the deceased traditional ruler escaped an assassination attempt made on his life by some assailants.
However, the hoodlums set ablaze his wife’s shop at Ahiaofu along the Enugu-Abakaliki expressway.
Hence, the Governor has ordered the movement of all the Security apparatus to Ezza North to launch investigations and arrest the perpetrators.
