HOODLUMS ABDUCT FOUR PERSONS IN YAGBA WEST LGA OF KOGI

Reports indicate that hoodlums have abducted four persons who were returning from a naming ceremony in Yagba West LGA of Kogi State.


Sources say the incident occurred around 8pm on Saturday January 8 at Oko town.


It was gathered that the victims were commuting home from a naming ceremony when the hoodlums ambushed them and whisked them away.


Upon receiving the distress call, security operatives immediately dashed to the scene of the incident and a search to arrest the abductors and rescue the victims unhur has started.


Recall that last year, hoodlums, numbering about 30, stormed Egbe town, Yagba West LGA, killing innocent residents and also looting banks and POS operators.
