IGP PRESENTS N49.6M CHEQUES TO THE FAMILIES OF DECEASED OFFICERS IN SERVICE

The cheque worth the sum of N49.6 million has been presented to 20 families of police officers who died in active service by Kebbi State Commissioner of Police, Lawal Abubakar-Daura.


The cheques which were from the group life insurance scheme of the police were presented by the Commissioner on behalf of the Inspector General of Police, Usman Alkali-Baba, on Thursday 26th April 2023 in Birnin Kebbi.

Consequently, the IGP revealed his kind gesture which is not only limited at supporting the families of deceased police officers, but also aimed at boosting the morale of the serving members of the Force.


Meanwhile, Abubakar-Daura advised the families to judiciously use the token to meet their financial needs while the beneficiaries also appreciated such kind gestures from the IGP.
