INTELLIGENCE ALERT: BOKO HARAM AIMS TO LAUNCH MAJOR ATTACK TO RECLAIM MARTE TOWN, JIHADISTS PLAN TO STRIKE DAMASAK UNCOVERED

Intelligence indicates that Boko Haram insurgents are planning to launch a major attack to reclaim Marte Town.

Sources say the insurgents have regrouped in large numbers in a town identified as Hillar Kwaise which is close to Sabon Gari of Krinewa.

The Jihadist fighters have been relentlessly trying to reclaim Marte Town but have been met with heavy resistance from the Nigerian Army.

In the first week of January, the insurgents tried to attack the military base in Marte but were repelled by the vigilant armed forces which prompted the terrorists to mobilize more fighters to carry out an overnight raid on January 16.

The Jihadists successfully overran the military base after intense fire exchange with the soldiers.

The resilient Nigerian Army in an apparent move to reclaim Marte and avenge the insurgents’ taking over of the military base, regrouped within 24 hours and killed several Boko Haram fighters, destroying 7 of their gun trucks.

Intel available to Eons Intelligence reveals that the Insurgents have resolved to take down Marte even if it would result in the loss of their lives.

In a similar development, sources have spotted a massive gathering of insurgents armed with several gun trucks at Jabullam indicating an imminent attack on Damasak and environs.

ADVISORY: Experts suggest an air raid be deployed to eliminate the insurgents at the point of their convergence before the attack is carried out. It is pertinent for security operatives to stay alert as insurgents may launch attacks on soft targets now that the jihadists have suffered massive losses.
