ISWAP UNLEASH AMBUSH ATTACK ON TROOPS IN BORNO
A coalition of armed units from the ISWAP on Wednesday unleashed a daring ambush with three different IEDs on unsuspecting Nigerian troops around Maiduguri-Monguno axis.
Over 10 security personnel were confirmed killed and several others still missing.
During the continued onslaught of the ambush in Gajiram, the ISWAP militants allegedly detonated 8 IEDs which left 25 personnel killed in the course of active service and three vehicles stolen in the course of the heated exchange, a change of tactics by the Nigerian army became necessary to prevent ISWAP from recording any form of battlefield success.

The soldiers of the Caliphate were then forced to tactically withdraw and strategize with an attack on the apostate of Nigerian army in the town of Damboa in the Borno region with eight mortar shells.
In the ensuing battle, the soldiers of the Caliphate further targeted a convoy of vehicles of the apostate Nigerian army on the road linking the towns of Katafila and Mararaba in Borno State on Wednesday, September 15, by detonating an explosive device, which led to the destruction of two vehicles.
Furthermore, the troops of the Caliphate attacked a position of the apostate militias in the town of Buni Yadi in the Borno region yesterday, targeting them with sophisticated weapons, which led to the killing of two members, leaving several other ISWAP militias taking to their heels.
