JUSTICE FOR UWA: PANIC AS FAMILY OF MURDERED VICTIM RECEIVE DEATH THREATS
Few days after the death of Uwa Omozuwa, the 22-year-old student of the University of Benin who raped in a church in Benin, the family of the victim say they are receiving death threats.

Uwa, who was raped inside a parish of the Redeemed Christian Church of God in Benin on May 27, died on Saturday, May 30, three days after her ordeal.
According to a source, the father of the deceased, Joseph Omozuwa said he has been receiving threat through his friend from an unknown caller suspected to be the killers of his daughter.
Mr Omozuwa cried to the security agencies to help identify the killers of his daughter and also protect his family members.
The IGP specifically ordered the transfer of the investigations into the inhuman sexual assault and death of Uwaila Omosuwa.

Police said it had apprehended a suspect in connection to her death and investigations are currently ongoing.
