LAGOS STATE ORDERS FULL REOPENING OF WORSHIP CENTRES
The Lagos State Government has approved the full reopening of worship centers.
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu disclosed this on Saturday, September 19 during a press briefing.
Lagos State had earlier restricted religious gatherings as one of the measures to curb the spread of the Coronavirus.
On Friday, August 7, Governor Sanwo-Olu partially relaxed lockdown restrictions on worship centres.
With this latest development, churches and mosques are free to hold mid-week services while observing COVID 19 protocols, the Governor said.
