NAF AIRSTRIKES TAKE OUT BOKO HARAM HIDEOUTS HOUSING HIGH-VALUE JIHADISTS IN ALAGARNO, SAMBISA FOREST

The Nigeria Army has launched multiple airstrikes on Boko Haram terrorist hideouts housing high- value Jihadists in Alagarno, Sambisa forest.


The Air Task Force of Operation LAFIYA DOLE launched the attack on Wednesday, January 6 after spotting the terrorists hiding under the thick vegetation located 2.3Km North East of KAFA.


Several terrorists were neutralised during the attack. 


Reports indicate that one of the locations destroyed was being used by the terrorists to coordinate attacks. 


The Air Task Force successfully executed the attacks on the terrorists using fighter jets and attack helicopters.

 

Recall that on the December 30th, the Air Task Force of Operation LAFIYA DOLE neutralized several Islamic State of West Africa Province (ISWAP) elements and destroyed their hideouts at 1Km North of Tumbun Gini on the fringes of Lake Chad in Borno State.
