  		'post_content' => '<p><span style="font-family: inherit; font-size: 0.875rem; color: rgb(90, 97, 105);">The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration (NAFDAC) has debunked an advertorial that it is working with a research lab called Pax Herbal Clinic and Research Laboratories- a company who claimed to have produced a drug for COVID-19.&nbsp;</span></p><p><br></p><p>The Director-General of NAFDAC, Prof. Mojisola Adeyeye, in a statement, also denied the claim that the Agency has appointed experts to work with Pax Herbal.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>"To set the records straight, at no time did the Director-General of NAFDAC, Prof Mojisola Christianah Adeyeye, or anyone in the Agency appoint any expert or staff to work with PAXHERBAL on any project," the statement said.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>Prof Adeyeye said NAFDAC turned down Pax Herbal's invitation to join their research team because "as a regulator of clinical trials, participation will be a conflict of interests."</p><p><br></p><p>The Agency, however, advised the company to carry out clinical trials to establish the efficacy of their product, the clinical trials, has not taken place, the statement said.</p>',
