NIGERIA'S CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF IBRAHIM ATTAHIRU VISITS SPECIAL ARMY SUPER CAMP IN NGAMDU BORNO STATE, ASSURES TROOPS OF SUPPORT

Nigeria's Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Maj.Gen Ibrahim Attahiru, on Monday, February 8, paid a visit to the Special Army Super Camp 1 in Ngamdu, Kala LGA of Borno State.



The Chief of Staff was briefed by the Sector Commander, Sector 2 OPLD, Maj.Gen. O.O Oluyede, on the successes and achievements recorded this far since the commencement of Operation TURA TAKAIBANGO and Operation LAFIYA DOLE Area of Responsibility,as well the readiness, and commitment of the troops within the sector.



Attahiru, who addressed the troops, applauded them for their resilience and loyalty in the fight against insurgency and terrorism in the North-East.



The COAS assures troops of his support and robust welfare packages to boost their morale as they continue the war against insurgency.
