NIGERIA’S CORONAVIRUS CASES RISE TO 105,478 AS NCDC CONFIRMS 1,479 MORE INFECTIONS
Nigeria's COVID-19 cases have increased to 105,478 as the NCDC announced 1,479 more infections on Thursday, January 14.
Of the 1,479 Infections, 697 were discovered in Lagos, 201 in the FCT, and 80 in Nasarawa.
On Thursday, 23 more death cases were reported, making it the highest fatalities in Nigeria since 2020 after 21 deaths were reported on June 16.
Nigeria has so far recorded 83,830 recoveries and 1,405 deaths from COVID-19.

Lagos State being the epicenter of the infection in Nigeria has been topping the chart since the emergence of the virus in March 2020.
Lagos has recorded 38,549 cases, followed by the Federal Capital Territory with 14,139 cases and 6,147 cases in Plateau State.
The South West State has so far made 30,566 discharges and recorded 266 deaths.
