NINE PERSONS KILLED AS SECURITY OPERATIVES OPEN FIRE ON #ENDSARS PROTESTERS AT LEKKI TOLL GATE, LAGOS
At least nine persons have been reportedly killed as armed security operatives stormed scene of #ENDSARS protesters and opened fire on them at the Lekki Toll gate area of Lagos State on Tuesday night.
The incident started around 7:00 pm on Tuesday, October 20.
Several persons have sustained injuries during the clash.
Videos captured online show some persons bleeding from gunshot wounds.
The incident comes hours after the Lagos State Government declared a 24-hour curfew across the State as part of the measures to curb the ongoing violence arising from the #EndSARS protests.
Although the curfew was to take effect by 4:00 pm, many were still seen on the streets of Lagos protesting.
