NSCDC OPERATIVES ARRESTS 3 SUSPECTS OVER RAILWAY TRACK VANDALISM, IMPOUNDS TRUCK IN NASSARAWA

In a bid to curtail the activities of economic saboteurs vandalizing the government's critical assets across the nation, operatives of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps Commandant General's Special Intelligence Squad (CG's SIS) having increased its operational skills has nabbed 3 Suspects while in a conveyance of already vandalized railway track slippers loaded in a heavy-duty truck along Keffi flyover, Keffi Local Government Area in Nassarawa State. 


From the information gathered during an interview by the NSCDC National PRO, Chief Superintendent Babawale Afolabi on Defenders TV we deduced from the Commander CG's SIS; Deputy Commandant Dandaura Appolos, that the arrest was made possible based on intelligence tip-off; the CG's SIS promptly swung into action to apprehend the 3 suspects and foiled their criminal moves. 


"We were alerted through an intelligence tip-off that some economic saboteurs of government efforts at revamping the Rail Transport Sector have vandalized some rail tracks, loaded large quantities of railway slippers in long container truck through Kafanchan axis of Kaduna State".


"Without wasting time we swung into action and intercepted the Truck; the following suspects were arrested:

 Aliyu Abdullahi (M) 45 years, Douglas David (M) 33 years and Abdulsalam Lawal (M) 26 years.


"The suspects were arrested at Keffi flyover in Nassarawa State while conveying a Truckload of railway slippers in very large quantities".


In ensuring that justice is served the suspects are currently in our custody and will be charged to court at the end of a thorough investigation. 


"Some of the suspects are already cooperating with us in our investigation and we will not spare anyone who is connected with the unscrupulous business no matter who the individuals are.... We will fish them out".... The CG's SIS Commander affirmed".
