OPERATION TURA TAKAIBANGO PHASE II: ACTING GENERAL OFFICER COMMANDING 7 DIVISION CHARGES TROOPS TO ROOT OUT BOKO HARAM TERRORISTS FROM THEIR HIDEOUTS
The Acting General Officer Commanding (GOC) 7 Division and Commander Sector 1 Operation Lafia Dole, Brigadier General Adelakun Eyitayo, has charged troops of 21 Special Armoured Brigade and Multinational Joint Task Force (Cameroonian Defence Forces) to intensify their efforts in rooting out Boko Haram Terrorists from their hideouts in the North-East.
The GOC gave the charge at the 21 Special Armoured Brigade muster ground on Sunday March 21 during his maiden Operational visit to the Brigade.
The Commander revealed that troops are going to be going to be heavily armed before proceeding for the last onslaught against the terrorists. He also assured them that there would be air cover for the period of the operation.
Brigadier General Adelakun Eyitayo also applauded the troops for working very hard in the Phase I of Operation Tura Takaibango and urged them to maintain the same intensity in the Phase II of the same Operation.
