#ENDSARS: GOVERNOR SANWO-OLU TO MEET WITH PRESIDENT BUHARI OVER PROTEST
Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Tuesday said he would be meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari over the demands of the #ENDSARS protesters.
Sanwo-Olu joined the #ENDSARS protesters in Alausa and received a letter of their demands.

The Governor, who reiterated his support for the protesters, said he is on his way to Abuja to meet with President Muhammadu Buhari.

“I am on my way to Abuja to meet with H.E President Muhammadu Buhari, and the goal of the conversation is clear.”
Sanwo-Olu disclosed that his administration is setting up a trust fund to compensate the families of the victims who lost their lives during the protest “even though no amount of money can reduce their pain”.
He added that the trust fund will be supervised by a team appointed transparently by members of the public.
