PLATUEAU STATE GOVERNMENT DONATES RELIEF MATERIALS TO 254 VULNERABLE FAMILIES
The Plateau State Government has provided relief materials for 254 vulnerable families in Jos South Local Government Area to help cushion the adverse effect of the on-going total lockdown in the State as a result of the Coronavirus Pandemic.
The family members, mainly widows, orphans, vulnerable children, and the physically challenged across religious and tribal lines were provided with foodstuff, toiletries, face masks and hand sanitizers.
Nosayaba Tukura, the team leader from Institute for National Transformation, presented the items to leaders of the different groups for direct distribution to the beneficiaries.
Tukura said it was imperative to alleviate the plights of the people who are badly affected by the effects of the ravaging disease.
