POLICE ARREST BANDIT ALLEGEDLY RESPONSIBLE FOR KILLING DISTRICT HEAD OF YANTUMAKI
The Katsina State Police command have arrested a notorious bandit, Yusuf Abdullahi, for allegedly killing the former District Head of Yantumaki, Late Alhaji Abubakar Atiku.
The suspect, 20, who hails from Kagara village, was arrested on December 3.
Abdullahi had attacked the residence of the former District Head and killed him alongside his night watchman, late Gambo Isah.
He confessed to have masterminded the assassination alongside other bandits who are identified as; Sahmsu, Ibrahim, Salmanu, and Kabir.
In a statement by the State’s Police PRO, SP Isah Gambo, i bestigations are ongoing and a manhunt has commenced to arrest Kabir, who is at large, and hibernating in a forest.
