POLICE DEBUNK RUMOR OF ARMED MEN INVASION ON SENATORS' HOUSE IN ABUJA
The Commissioner of Police, FCT Police Command, CP Babaji Sunday, emphatically stated that there was no invasion by armed men on the Abuja residence of Senator Sani Musa representing Niger East Senatorial District in the hollowed chambers of the National Assembly.
The CP stated that the information was being peddled by some media platforms that have failed to verify information in a bid to be perceived as "breaking the news".
The CP, in line with the directives of the Inspector-General of Police, has carried out strategic review of the security architecture in the FCT with improved deployments where necessary. He, therefore, urged residents of the FCT to disregard such publications.
