POLICE NAB SUSPECTED ARMED ROBBERS, ARM'S AND AMMUNITIONS CONFISCATED
Operatives of Delta State Police command on December 8,2022, at about 1630hrs, intercepted a black GLK mercedes Benz SUV conveying two male occupants,the operatives conducted a search on the car and recovered one Barreta pistol and one locally made revolver pistol.
The two suspects; Joshua Oweke (male) of Gbulebu
community in Edo State and Nicolas Binakeye (male) of first road Akenfa in Bayelsa State were arrested.
Similarly,the operatives on the December 6,2022, got an intelligence report that a syndicate who unlawfully deals on sales of cartridges to cultists and armed robbers were hibernating in Boboroku community in Jesse where they carry out their nefarious activities.
The operatives stormed the hideout at Boboroku Jesse Ethiope-West LGA, and arrested one Victoria Willams (female) and two others all from Boboroku community in Jesse and one hundred and thirty (130) live cartridge were recovered.
