POLICE REPEL TERRORIST ATTACK, RESCUE FIVE KIDNAP VICTIMS, RECOVER RUSTLED ANIMALS
Operatives of the Kastina state Police command repelled terrorist attacks, rescued five kidnap victims and confiscated rustled animals in Kastina State.
Information available indicates that the Police operatives responded to a distress call on December 6, 2022, at about 0500hrs indicating that terrorists numbering about twenty-five attacked Karo village, Tsabe Tuge Ward, Musawa LGA of Katsina shooting sporadically with AK 47 rifles and subsequently abducted five villagers, rustled forty-three cows, eighty-six sheep, two donkeys and stole away three (3) motorcycles belonging to the villagers.
The operatives swiftly mobilized to the area and blocked a cattle route along TASHAR MAJE, Kankara LGA and subsequently engaged the hoodlums in a fierce gun duel.
The operatives successfully repelled them from furthering their heinous mission, rescued all the kidnapped victims and recovered all the rustled animals.
