PRESIDENT BUHARI APPROVES FUNDING OF SIX MEDICAL TRAINING FACILITIES IN SIX COLLEGES OF MEDICINE
President Buhari has approved funding of six medical training facilities in six colleges of medicine in the country through the Tertiary Institution Trust Fund (TEFUND).
This was announced by President Buhari’s Personal Assistant on New Media, Bashir Ahmad, on his verified Twitter Handle.
Ahmad Tweeted; ‘’President @MBuhari has approved the funding of six Medical Simulation, Research and Training Facilities in six Colleges of Medicine through the TETFund. The facilities will be responsible for setting up of Molecular Science Laboratories across the country.’’
TETFund’s Director of Public Affairs, Mrs Ngoba Briggs, said the facilities would aid the setting up of Molecular Science Laboratories with capacity for testing and diagnosing COVID-19, Lassa Fever, and other related viral diseases.
