PRESIDENT BUHARI NOMINATES MEDIA AIDE, THREE OTHERS FOR INEC COMMISSIONER
Nigeria's President, Muhammadu Buhari, has nominated his Special Assistant on Social Media, Mrs. Lauretta Onochie, for screening and confirmation as a National Commissioner of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), representing Delta State.
President of the Senate, Ahmad Lawan, made this known while reading the President's letter at the plenary on Tuesday, October 13, 2020.
Lawan said the President also nominated Prof. Mohammed Sani representing Katsina; Prof. Kunle Ajayi representing Ekiti; and Seidu Ahmed representing Jigawa; as National Commissioners of INEC in their respective States.
