SEVERAL JIHADISTS DEAD AS NIGERIA MILITARY DESTROYS BOKO HARAM/ISWAP STRONGHOLD IN GORGORE FORESTS

The Nigeria Army has destroyed one of the strongest enclaves of ISWAP fighters located in Gorgore forests killing several Jihadists.

The Nigeria military on clearance operation TURA TAKABONGO on Thursday, January 7 ousted the ISWAP fighters from one of their strongholds located at the Timbuktu Triangle which traverses Damboa and Gujba LGAs of Borno and Yobe States.

Several arms and ammunition were recovered during the operation including 10 Gun trucks as several terrorists retreated to escape the military’s firepower.

Eons Intelligence gathered that the ISWAP terrorists might regroup in other bases as the Jihadists have similar stronghold bases in different locations including Talala, Buk, Ajigin, Muchima A and B.

Security experts project that the terrorists might flee towards Ashaka or Kaleri forest in Gombe State and Bauchi State in a bid to escape the onslaught from Nigeria’s military, a move that should not be allowed to happen.
